Hooooow did you do that watercolor technique for the background? I see it in many paintings and I can't figure out what causes that lovely splash! Excellent piece, by the way. The fine strokes for the detail and texture is wonderful. I'm so feeling this especially since I'm currently doing my frostsaber dailies and I'm so antsy! Haha.

Thank you for your comment! The effect in the background is done by adding salt to the damp paper with watercolor in it.
